After 5 p.m., or on weekends and holidays, the best way to reach a
physician or nurse is to call the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant
Unit at (319) 356-0505. When you leave a message with the Pediatric
Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, you should leave a phone number at which
you can be contacted because it may take five or ten minutes to reach
the physician on-call.
