This storybook was made just for you. It was made to help you feel better when you hurt or are afraid. Read the story with an adult when you feel good. They can read the story to you and help you practice the blowing. They will be your coach. Reading and blowing help you to feel calm and relaxed. The pictures will help you to pretend you are blowing bubbles. Pretending and blowing helps you to feel better when you are scared or hurt. Practice when you feel good and are having fun.

Bring this storybook to the clinic when you come to see your doctor or nurse. They will help you and your coach use the book if you feel uncomfortable during your visit. You can also bring other books or toys that help you to feel good.

Each time you read the book and practice the breathing in the clinic you should get a hug or some small reward like a sticker. You can keep the stickers in the back of your book.

Remember, the blowing becomes easier each time you do it. Try it out! You can do it!
