When you enter the waiting room, tell the person at the check-in desk your name and they tell you to have a seat after they find your name in the computer. You can expect to wait between 10 to 30 minutes. When they call your name you enter an exam room where they ask you to take off your shoes and any extra clothing so they can weigh you. Then they will take your temperature and blood pressure. Activities are available while you wait for the nurse and doctor. You might want to bring a book or CD player. There is a chalkboard in the room to doodle on. Or you might want to ask a Child Life specialist what other activities are available.
