John Swenning, MBA, RN, was appointed Associate Director, UI Hospitals and Clinics in 2008. He provides operational oversight of the ambulatory clinics and is responsible for capital and operational budget allocations, for implementation of the Ambulatory Standards of Excellence, and serves as co-chair of the Clinic Leadership Team for Ambulatory Care Services. He is point person for Ambulatory Care governance and provides leadership and direction to the Ambulatory Nurse Managers Council.
